It's all concrete!

Today they poured our concrete slab. Jared and I took Brooker to the house so that we could put our handprints in the wet concrete. We decided on a place near a wall in the garage.

New Construction!

The construction of our new home has begun and it's in full swing! We broke ground in late December and have been moving steadily along. We have been told it will take approximately 8 months but we are crossing our fingers that it will be sooner. I will post pictures regularly to document the progress.

Highlands Hammock

Emily and I took our kids to Highlands Hammock park for some fun and just to get out of the house. The kids really enjoyed themselves. It was the first time Brooker had ever been on the "big swings" and also went down the slide on mommy's lap. Lucy and Emily had some sweet bonding time too. Edy decided to catch a "cat-nap" while the rest of us played (which would explain why she is not pictured!). It's a special time for us because we can remember our moms taking us to the Hammock when we were little too!
