June Miscellaneous

Sweet Summertime...June was jam packed with vacations, day trips, playdates and more!

A pic of these three "M Girls" on the last day I took them to school.

Afterwards I took them to SweetFrog but it was closed....they were NOT happy customers!

The kids had a shirt signing party at school. Some momma's asked me to make their daughters shirts that will fit them when they are seniors. So here's the before pic...can't wait to see the "after" pic in 10 years!

Some PACK action!

Getting creative with their hair.

Tea for Two

Brooker and Nolan set up quite the scene using army men and jungle animals!

Nothing like a fire and s'mores in the dead of summer!

So proud of this boy for conquering his fear...he went on the far right slide and can't wait to do it again!

Mary Kate spent the night with Marlee and Laci sent me this picture...Mary Kate is still snoozing at 9 a.m. and Karsyn and Marlee are having a full blown horse party on the floor! MK likes her sleep!

After watching a movie at the theater we ran into Aunt Mollie and Jacob taking Mikey (Nene and Pepa's dog) to the groomer...The Sebring Pooch Parlor!

Weekend in Weeki Wachee

We finally got a chance to visit Papa and Cici's house in Weeki Wachee. It's a cute little cottage right on the Weeki Wachee River. We were only there for one night and it simply was not long enough but we filled our days with as much fun as we could! As soon as we got there on Saturday we ventured out to sea in search of some scallops (the season opened this weekend). We didn't strike gold by any means but we came home with some and the kids had fun finding them and Brooker loved diving down and getting them. Mary Kate enjoyed wearing her new fins and swimming along next to Papa. When we got back to the house the kids and Cici cooled off in the river. On Sunday we headed back out in search of more scallops but it was so rough and the water was really murky so we just decided to go back to the river and do some kayaking. There were SO MANY people on the river...kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, tubing, swimming, and more.  It was quite a site! We look forward to spending more time in Weeki Wachee and next time we promised Mary Kate we'd see the mermaids!

Howard Family Meeting

We went back to Bonita Springs this week to spend a few more days at the same hotel we were at last week! Mr. Adrian treated our family to dinner on Wednesday night. Thursday we went to the pool and lazy river. Thursday night all of the families went out to dinner in Naples. Our kids have gotten to know each other well and really look forward to catching up at the yearly Howard meeting....the wives enjoy it too!

Riding in the back of the pick up truck...the Valet wasn't quite sure what to think of our crew!

The Howard kiddos range in age from 3 to 16. They had their own table at the restaurant and were wonderful. We received many compliments :)

Celebrating Father's Day with Pappy

Pappy hasn't been feeling very well so we waited until tonight to celebrate Father's Day with him. Bear fried turkey and we had some yummy sides to go with it. The kids swam and ran around the yard doing what they do best! Pappy liked his new shirt and shorts we picked out for him...orange and blue of course!

Heartland Triathlon

This morning it was my turn to participate in the Heartland Triathlon...this was my second time doing this race and it was a lot better this go round. Although I was feeling pretty ill today, I still managed to beat my time from a few years ago so that made me happy! Of course mom beat me and I am proud of her for doing so awesome!
