Heagan's 3rd Birthday Party

This evening we attended the most adorable Mermaid birthday party for a precious 3 year old...Miss Heagan! Her momma didn't miss a detail when it came to the cake, party food, and favors which were "grow a mermaid" and "grow a pirate"! What started out as a torrential downpour and all the kids being crazy inside the house, turned out to be a fun outdoor pool party with the kiddos and some daddies swimming in the pool. We managed to get all the kids together for a group picture...so cute! Happy 3rd Birthday to Mari Heagan Price!

Howard Family Weekend

We just got home from a fun get-a-way to Marco Island for the annual Howard Fertilizer Family Weekend. Unfortunately, Daddy has to spend most of his time in meetings but the kids and I get to tag along so we can play at the pool and the beach with the other Howard wives and kids. We enjoyed dinner with everyone at Quinn's. Brooker was excited to be reunited with all his buddies and they spent most of the night at the arcade! Thursday morning I took the kids to Dunkin Donuts for a nutritious breakfast of frosted doughnuts before heading back to the hotel for a day FULL of water, fun, and sun! We enjoyed the beach as well as the pool. Mary Kate did not want to do the slide this year even though she's tall enough. She kept telling me and everyone else who asked her that "It's so dangerous!" Brooker however went down over and over again. By 5 o'clock we headed back to the room to get ready for dinner. Jared and I decided that it would probably be best for me and the kids to stay behind at the hotel since they were exhausted. Mary Kate asked to get in her "green bed" and was snoring by 5:30 pm. She didn't wake until after 8 the next morning! Brooker and I ordered room service and snuggled up to watch "Wipeout". Friday morning we enjoyed the pool and beach a little more then headed home. Good times and memories as always!

"Bird's TeePee"

When we were at the library a couple of weeks ago, the librarian told Brooker he could collect things from nature or create a diorama to put on display. So he decided he wanted to make a teepee out of sticks so he and Mary Kate collected all the supplies they would need. Once the teepee was made he wasn't sure what direction to take next so I offered him this bird's nest decoration that I had lying around. He then remembered that Rylie had given him this bird when she was here so he decided to make a "Bird's TeePee". He even used white rocks he found outside as eggs in the nest. I love his creativity and thinking outside the box! The librarian was so excited about his project and let him choose which shelf to display it on. He was a happy boy!

Saying "Goodbye" to the Brooker clan!

Bo, Leslie, Rylie, Baxlee, and Baby Harper headed back to Kentucky today....tear! We miss them terribly when they are gone and LOVE when they're here to visit. The kids never miss a beat when they are together. This morning we went to Mammy and Pappy's to say our goodbyes and see them off!
