Fun evening with Molly Jane

Molly Jane is spending the night with us tonight because her mommy and daddy are having a little getaway! I had to capture some of the sweet moments between MJ and MK. As I am blogging I can hear them giggling in Mary Kate's room...they are supposed to be sleeping! But that's what little girls are supposed to do at a sleep over right?!

Surprise Shower for Miss Hill

Today we surprised Miss Hill with a bridal shower from her class! A week ago I went into the class while Miss Hill was absent and we worked on some special projects to get ready for the shower. They have been soooooo excited all week. Today while Miss Hill was at a quick meeting we hurried into the class to get everything set up and ready. When she walked in the door we yelled "surprise" and Miss Hill saw her prince Kevin waiting there for her to share in the celebration. We ate yummy snacks, played shower games, opened gifts, and watched Miss Hill read a special scrapbook filled with sweet sentiments from her class. It was a great party!

Happy Birthday Cookie!

Today we took Granny to Sweet Frog to attend "Cookie's" Birthday party! Mary Kate made her a cute card and off we went. Cookie was waiting at the door as we walked in and was tickled when MK handed her the card. We saw lots of friends while we were there. Even Anna, Elsa, and Olaf joined the party. We had a fun afternoon at Sweet Frog!

CTE Running Club

Earlier this school year Brooker went to his PE coaches and principal and told them he wanted to start a running club at Cracker Trail. They told him he needed to write up a proposal and they would support him in this. He and Jared worked hard on developing a plan for the club and Brooker presented it to them. They were quite impressed with how well he had everything thought out and were happy to help launch the CTE Thundering Herd Running Club! Last week was their first meeting. The Highlands Today newspaper came to take pictures and write a story. We are really proud of Brooker and his persistence in starting the running club!

Babysitting Baylor

Baylor Boo came to stay the night with us yesterday while his momma, daddy, and big brother went to Monster Jam. Mary Kate has been so excited about babysitting Baylor. As soon as he got to our house she went into her mommy role. She set up a play area on the floor, fed him his dinner, helped bathe him, and gave him snuggles before bed.  We all love this boy...he's just the BEST baby!

1st Upward Game

The 1st Upward Game Day was a success! When I woke Mary Kate up this morning she dashed out of bed and ran to put on her uniform...she was so excited. Brooker was pumped too! Mary Kate had a great morning cheering and Brooker played his heart out on the basketball court. He got the "effort" star and it was well deserved!
