February Miscellaneous

We LOVED our February!

Brooker reminds us almost daily that there is always, always something to be thankful for. Both kids actually love to write on this!

Brantley and MK...true love!

Popsicle break at school...this pic kinda looks like a modern day scene from the movie "Grease"!

I put hearts on this kids doors and Jared's mirror this month listing reasons why I love them...Brooker surprised me with my own little note!

Brooker and his buddy Cooper...we went to watch Cooper and some of Brooker's other friends play baseball today but we got there when the game was wrapping up!

Frozen sisters!

Laci, Lucy, and I took the girls to watch the Little Miss Highlands County pageant. They loved watching the girls and hearing what their favorite colors, animals, hobbies, etc. were!

I'm keeping her! She makes my heart smile :)

Sweet friends at Starbucks!

Brooker went to camp for Oren's birthday and his buddy Cooper was there! A fun surprise!

Lunch date with these cute girls!

And another lunch date with Brooker and Emma

Silly kids...been together in school since the 3 year old class!

Loves matching Bitty Baby

Howard Fertilizer girl!

These boys are CRAZY...here's their rendition of a circus act!

Posin'!

Publix LOVES kids!

Making her wish list. She loves when the American Girl catalog comes in the mail and she hurried inside to get a pen and start circling. We have fun looking at what she circled and talking about why she likes what she likes!

Nene got the girls journals and they got to work in them right away.

Bear and Laci are getting new neighbors...new construction means lots of sand piles for the kids to get as dirty as possible!

Tea time with Marlee and Karsyn

And now craft time!

An inspiring evening with some really fantastic ladies in my life!

Cuties!

Girls on the move!

A Special Day!

Today the kids attended an Olympians and Gopher Buddies fun day at Bible Fellowship Church. They had a huge bounce house and different games/events were planned throughout the day. When I came to pick up the kids, the leaders were giving out 1st/2nd/3rd place ribbons for all the events. Brooker brought home a few 3rd place ribbons and Mary Kate got 3rd place in the 50 yard dash. Wish I could've been there to see that!

But the most special thing about this day is that Brooker asked Jesus into his heart. He spent at least 15 minutes this evening sharing with Jared and I about how he prayed the prayer of salvation with "The cool guy named John in the red shirt". He has a clear understanding of who Jesus is and what he sacrificed for all of us sinners. Jared and I are so very proud of his decision as this is something we pray for as parents! I am very thankful to the leaders who put on this event and for "John" who led Brooker to Jesus. When I was putting Brooker to bed tonight we were looking at pictures on my phone. He said "Stop Mom" when I got to this picture of Mary Kate and Bella in front of the bounce house. He wanted me to zoom in on the picture and would you know that the ONE other person in this picture at the top of the bounce house is "The cool guy named John in the red shirt." I took this picture when I dropped the kids off for the day. Little did I know that it would become a very treasured photo for us! We had a little celebration for Brooker with his favorite food...tacos and Sweet Frog. Looking forward to his upcoming Baptism!

One of their biggest fans!

Brantley loves his cousins and it was fun having him with us for the weekend! He thought it was just great seeing them at Upward...and they thought it was pretty neat to have him there too!

Happy Birthday Braden

This evening we went to "Tyson" field for some flag football action! Brooker's buddy Braden is turning 8 and had a football party to celebrate. It was a lot of fun. The boys played football and the girls helped cheer them on (but mostly just played and made adventures of their own)!

Afternoon of Riding

We haven't seen Pokey in awhile so we headed over after we picked up Brooker from school (He was dressed like a cowboy since the Cracker Trail Riders came to school today). Pokey was really happy to see us and so was Bella (the cow). Pokey's hair is longer than ever right now! He looks like a big teddy bear. We groomed him for a really long time then saddled up and rode. Mary Kate and I rode together for awhile...this part I really enjoyed. We just talked and visited and enjoyed being together! Brooker wants Pokey to be a roping horse again...I am not sure the ol' boy still has it in him!
