More fun in May!

An old family pic that popped up on FB today...this is a LOT of the Gose side of the family. That's my sweet Granny Great sitting right in the middle and this picture was taken in her front yard.

Monkeying around!

To say he loves the sport of triathlons would be an understatement...Today I caught him with all of his triathlete magazines out doing research to put together an informational book about triathlons!

Memorial Day Weekend

After Brooker's football game Saturday morning we hitched up the camper and made our way to Sun N' Fun RV resort in Sarasota. This was our 2nd time at this campground and while it's a really great place, it was WAY too crowded for our liking since it was a holiday weekend. But, we made the most of our weekend. We enjoyed some of the amenities at the campground but our favorite thing was hanging out on Lido Beach. We went to a little park at the tip of the island and had a really great spot on the beach where we enjoyed most of Sunday.  On Sunday night we went to the best dinner spot...Owen's Fish Camp. We will definitely be returning there...smoked oysters, boiled peanuts, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, and SO much more!

The kids enjoyed some of the fun things at the resort..indoor obstacle course, huge slide, water boats, and just riding their scooters around.

Lido Beach was HEAVENLY! Such a beautiful beach day.

Owen's Fish camp was quite possibly the highlight of the trip for Jared. He (along with the rest of us) was a huge fan!

Brooker trying an oyster for the first time! He approved.

Flag Football

Brooker is trying something new...Flag Football! He has been wanting to play for a couple of years but it interfered with triathlons and training. We decided to give it a try this year to see if he could handle both. He really likes flag football a LOT! Today was his first game and he loved it.
