Ride 'em Cowboy!

Brooker has this rocking horse in his bedroom that he has never paid much attention to until tonight. He wanted to get on and take a ride. I think he loves this toy now.

The Roof is On!

The guys worked hard yesterday getting the roof on. We went by around 6 p.m. and they were getting the last piece on for the night. It's really made the house come together!

I put Brooker down for bed tonight and he just looked soooo sweet! I had to run grab my camera to capture the moment. He's just getting so big!

After lunch we planned to go to the park but we felt raindrops. Instead we ended up getting icecream at Dairy Queen. Niether of us remembered to take our cameras inside. Too bad because Brooker wore an icecream mustache pretty much the whole time we were there!

Finally the rain let up and we headed to the park to swing. Brooker and Lucy had a wonderful time. Brooker loves being with the girls!

Out on the Town

Jared and I had to go to a dinner for the Highlands County Citrus Growers Assoc. tonight. We asked my best friend, Amy to keep Brooker for us while we were gone. We love when Amy babysits for us. She keeps track of everything they do while we are away. It's nice to come home and hear all the cute stories about their adventures. Tonight it was that both Brooker and Boone's tummies were not feeling so well. Sorry Amy and Eric!

Golf Cart Rides

Evening golf cart rides are one thing that my family loves to do. Especially Boone and Brooker. It's so nice to ride around the neighborhood and sneak a few peeks at our new house along the way! Another Family Birthday

Bo and Leslie will both be celebrating their 28th birthdays very soon. Since they were home this weekend we decided to celebrate. We gathered at mom and dad's house for some steak and birthday cake! I always enjoy getting Brooker & Rylie together. I can't believe how big they both are!

Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day was very special. Jared and I decided to stay home instead of fighting the crowds at the local restaurants. GREAT choice! Jared prepared another one of his spectacular meals. It started with an assortment of fruits & cheeses (fried goat cheese...my favorite!). Dinner included grilled shrimp and scallops and veggies. A delicious salad went along with it but I was so filled I could barely eat it. Top it all off with champagne & strawberries. I only had a teeny tiny sip but it was good. Jerry's Birthday Party

Jared's dad turned 53 today and we celebrated at their house. Jerry made his "signature" baby back ribs. They were delicious. We had a fun time together with everyone. We always look forward to birthday celebrations and special times with our family.

Lucy is a mommy!

Jared's mom and dad have a Corgie named Lucy. She became a proud mother to 9 puppies on January 28. One of the puppies did not make it. We think she was a girl. If so, Lucy had 4 boys and 4 girls. We finally got to see the puppies today and they are so cute and so tiny. They still have not opened their eyes. Lucy is a wonderful mommy.
