We Still Have Our "Gator" Pride

Despite the disturbing loss of our beloved Florida Gators today, we still wore our orange and blue with pride. We spent some down-time this evening in the yard playing in the hose, watering our flowers, and talking about the Gators!

Me & My Stud

Watering the caladiums.

What fun!

What should I do with this hose?

Drink water?

Pour water on my head?

Oooooo, cold!

Whoa.....COLDER!

Just being cute!

Brooker is trying to chase after the hose as daddy reels it up but can't catch it!

Here mommy, I will help you pull this weed.

Got it!

Wanna kiss Boone?

"Daddy, tell me more about the gators..." (Mommy's favorite picture of all!)

Wisteria Planter

I have always really loved the Wisteria planter that I sell with Southern Living at Home. When I knew I was getting my new home I thought one would look perfect hanging on my front oak tree. We finally got it hung this past week and I LOVE it! Everytime I drive by the front of the house, I take a look. This isn't the best shot but you'll get the idea.

Ben's 4th Birthday

We were very excited to be invited to our cousin Ben's 4th birthday party at the Children's Museum. Brooker had only been there once before and he wasn't walking then. However, today was a whole new adventure since he could get around on his feet! He had a blast...so did all the cousins. Ben got to sit on the throne and wear a crown. We opened presents, ate yummy birthday cake icecream, and had delicious strawberry filled birthday cake. Thank you Stacia and Ben for inviting us to such a fun, fun birthday party! P.S. Brooker loves his "Happy Birthday, Clifford" book...we read it several times a day!

Kinsloe is showing Brooker how to use the computer.

Jack is delivering my order! Whoa, did I really order all that?!

Fun at the water table...A few minutes later, Rylie was almost swimming!

My little postman!

Kinsloe, the mail lady!

Coloring time...Brooker was more concerned with putting the crayons in the bucket, taking them out of the bucket, in, out, in, out...unfortunately, I didn't get a cute coloring page out of him!

Brooker is on watch at the fire tower...There must be an impt. call about a fire!

Happy Birthday to Ben! Notice Brooker is holding his spoon and is ready to dig in!

Play Date at the Library

Today a small group of mommies and their children got together for some play time at the Public Library. The kids were soooo good. They sat on the little child-sized chairs and read books, played on the computer, did puzzles, and Brooker ran around like a wild child! After about an hour we decided that some serious destruction might be beginning to take place so we headed down to the playground by the pier for the kids to get out their wiggles. Good times were had by everyone and we are sure to plan another play date soon.

Looks like fun!

August thinks the library is pretty cool!

This is what Brooker thought was so fun about the library...hide-n-seek.
