Inseparable..Mary Kate and Bitty Baby

Mary Kate was so excited that Margaret Nell started going to dance too!

One day Mary Kate brought me this book and said, "Mommy I wrote my name." She sure did!

Buddies!

The wait is finally over! All things Frozen from here on out!

I sent Brooker to Heidi's house to get me an egg. He dropped it on the way home..Amazingly it was still in tact!

Lunch date with Brooker, Caylee, and Landon

Mrs. Kristin is always surprising me with new hairdos for Mary Kate!

Dentist Appointments!

This afternoon both kiddos had to go to the dentist. Brooker somewhat dreaded going because he's been before, but Mary Kate was an excited little girl because it was her first time! They both did fantastic and got wonderful reports. We celebrated with ice cream at Dairy Queen!

CTE Annual Hoedown

My fellow PTO officers and I have worked for months to make the CTE Annual Hoedown a success! Of course we wanted to make it bigger and better with more appeal than in years past so we had our work cut out for us. The day finally came and what do you know it rained all afternoon. We were so disappointed and afraid the rain would impact attendance. God was on our side and let the rain stop and a beautiful night emerge. Tons of people came out for a good time! It was the most profitable hoedown thus far and we were able to earn lots of money for the school. I was a busy bee all evening so I didn't take many pictures but Brooker and Mary Kate had a blast! At the end of the night Mrs. Halloran had to "Kiss a Pig" because she was the winner of a penny collecting contest. Her students really love her and made sure her bucket was overflowing with pennies! We heard great things about the hoedown from parents and teachers and students. So glad!

Art Uncorked

Several weeks ago my mom called to tell me to "Save the Date" on March 25th because she had a surprise for us! Well, turns out she wanted a painting buddy to join her at the first watercolor class ever offered at the Art League. I was so happy because my friend was the instructor and I was wanting to go to one of her classes. We painted these flowers. Mine leaves a lot to be desired as watercolors are not that easy! As always, the painting classes are fun and bring out our inner Picasso. Thank you Momma for inviting me!

The Island

It's been awhile since we've been at the Island but it's always so nice to step foot onto this little piece of paradise! We've been looking forward to this part of spring break for awhile now. We got there just in time for sunset on Wednesday evening. It was gorgeous! Jared made a scrumptious dinner of scallops and pasta and salad. The kids got acquainted with their room and watched The Jungle Book. On Thursday morning we went kayaking in the bay...it was beautiful. Mammy came down around noon. We went to the beach for awhile and built sandcastles. Jared also buried both kids in the sand! That afternoon we went on another kayak ride down to the point. At the sandbar we walked around and saw some neat sea life. Another yummy dinner Thursday night prepared by Jared. On Friday we went to the beach in the mid morning to fly kites. It was a perfect day with just enough wind to fly them high in the sky! On Saturday, Mary Kate and Mammy played together and Jared, Brooker, and I went fishing. We caught a couple snook that weren't quite long enough to keep and several keeper trout. Fish fry for dinner of course! It was hard to leave on Sunday...perfect weather the whole time we were there and today was no different. Ready to go back soon!
