Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 was a great one! We have been so blessed this year with our happiness and health and a new addition to our family, Miss Mary Kate. It was great getting together with family on all sides and celebrating our blessings. It's so much fun to see Christmas through the eyes of a child.

Preparing for Santa Claus...tossing out "reindeer food"...oats with glitter to light the way!
Santa left some crumbs and a note...
The stockings were hung with care...
Santa Claus surely was here!

Christmas Cookies

Brooker made Christmas cookies tonight...he loved it! He really likes to help out in the kitchen...he takes after his daddy :)

Tea Party...Meet the M & M girls!

My mom and Aunt Mollie hosted a tea party today to honor their newest granddaughters, Margaret Nell, Mary Kate, and Marlee Grace. Aunt Mollie calls them the "M & M girls." Many of our immediate and extended family members joined us for lunch and visiting with the girls. It was a nice party!

Baby Dedication

Today Mary Kate and her cousin Marlee Grace were dedicated at church. Pastor David did such an amazing job and made it so very special! This day brought back memories of three years ago when Brooker and his cousin Rylie were dedicated on the Sunday before Christmas :)

Brooker Family Christmas

Tonight we celebrated Christmas with my dad's side of the family...the Brookers! As always, we had a ton of laughs, ate good food, and just enjoyed each other's company. The "big girls" always do a gift exchange of some sort and this year we all brought a Christmas platter. I LOVE the one I ended up with...thanks Heidi! It's amazing how much this side of the family is growing...we added three new baby girls in just two months...I can only imagine the chaos next year!!

All the girls...including the little ones!
Brooker, Baxlee, and Rylie being so silly during a cousin photo shoot!
Love, love, love these three!
My two sweeties :)
I caught this picture while Rylie was listening to her cousin Jared read the Christmas story from Luke...while all the other kids were anxiously awaiting present time, she was so enthralled with the story...it was sooo sweet :)

PJ Day

The last day of school before Christmas break was pajama day! Brooker wasn't very sure about wearing his PJ's to school but once he got there and saw that "everyone was doing it" he was okay :)
