Fall Festival on Main

I took the kids up to Avon Park today for a very fun fall festival put on by both Avon Elementary and Park Elementary. It started with a costume parade and my little Tebow and Dora the Explorer enjoyed walking with Mammy and hearing lots of "Go Gators" from the crowd! After the parade we went straight to the pony rides. We waited in a long line but I wasn't very convinced that Mary Kate would go for getting on! When it was Brooker's turn he hopped right on and loved it. Then it was time for Mary Kate to saddle up...she didn't hesitate for one second. She climbed aboard and LOVED it! After the pony rides we enjoyed lots of different games and face painting, bounce houses, and more. What a fun event this was! After FOUR hours of fun we decided to head home!

This picture makes me laugh because this nice man stopped the horse so I could get a picture of Mary Kate and she started pointing and yelling, "No, go!" She wanted them to keep walking!

Cute Cute Cute!
Cake Walk!

Gotta laugh here too because while everyone else was walking around the chairs for the cake walk, Mary Kate stood in the middle and danced to the music!
Brooker and Cline showing off their muscles!
Mary Kate getting her face painted...she sat so still for so long. Even got both cheeks done!

Brooker must've sat in this chair for 20 minutes or more. The little boy painting his face was taking his job very seriously! The finished product was good though!

Martha Speaks

The whole Kindergarten Learning Center took a field trip to South Florida State College to watch the play, "Martha Speaks." Unfortunately, no parents were allowed to chaperone this trip due to space issues BUT I have some wonderful teacher friends at KLC who allowed me to feel like I was there by sending me pics of my little man! He looked like he enjoyed himself a lot :)
On the bus ride...I think this was Brooker's first time ever on the Big Yellow School Bus!
This is his new way to pose for pics!
That's better!

Sebring Centennial Parade

In honor of Sebring's 100 year birthday, a Centennial parade was held on the circle. I took Mary Kate to watch with Pappy, Nene, Aunt Laci, and Marlee (Jared and Brooker were at t-ball practice but came late). It was fun seeing the different floats in the parade. I liked First Baptist Sebring's float and it won 3rd place...yay! After the parade the kids enjoyed dancing to the California Toe Jam Band and running around with lots of their friends. I really enjoy fun events in good ol' Sebring!

Fall Treat

I saw a cute idea on Pinterest for making edible acorns. We thought it would be a fun treat for Brooker's class. He helped me pick out all the ingredients at the store and assemble the acorns. Of course we had to taste test a couple...or more like almost the whole batch! Luckily we had extra ingredients and were able to make enough to share with his class :)

Take me out to the ballgame...

Brooker had his first official t-ball game tonight! He did such a good job and his team looks great :) As you can tell he was a happy boy during the game and was sure to keep hydrated with blue gatorade! I'm so proud of our little #5 and can't wait to watch him all season!

Barefoot girl!

So serious as he waits on 1st base.
