Fun at Aunt Jamie's

Aunt Jamie kept the kids this weekend while we were gone. She said Brantley loved having his cousins there to play with him and he was a little sad when the left! One of the weekend highlights was finding a gopher turtle and giving it a little paint job. We are so thankful to all of our family for helping us out with our kids this weekend so we could enjoy a little time away together!

A Visit with Pete

Laci took the girls up to see Pete after school today. This was Mary Kate's first time meeting Pete and she definitely enjoyed herself!

Friday Fun Day

Preschool was fun today! The kids got to enjoy the pumpkin patch a little more, practice writing their names, then play with glow sticks for the letter "G"!

Sleepover at Marlee's

Mary Kate spent the night with Marlee Grace tonight after the Pumpkin Patch. Looks like they had a fun time eating popsicles in the bathtub, coloring pictures before bed, and snuggling in their sleeping bags. Laci said they all ended up in her bed before the night was over!

Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Tonight was the Annual Preschool Pumpkin Patch. Since Jared and I were gone, Uncle Bear and Aunt Laci took Mary Kate to the festivities with them. Laci sent me all these cute pictures from the evening. It looked like lots of fun for the kiddos! Thanks Laci for including our girl!

Early Release Fun Day!

We've tried to do something fun with out kiddos on the Early Release days this year. Today we went to Sweet Frog then the arcade in the mall. I had lunch with Brooker and Brooklyn and you can see their excited faces when they learned of the plan! 

Go, Mammy Go!

Mary Kate and I joined Mammy in Longboat Key this weekend for a triathlon! We spent Saturday night in Sarasota and of course had to check out the new University Mall...one word, CROWDED! We woke up bright and early on Sunday to get Mammy to the race. Mary Kate and I enjoyed moving from place to place along mom's route to get pictures along the way. We were so proud of her 2nd place finish!

The Fire Station

Mary Kate's class took a field trip across the street to the Fire Station! She went last year too but I wasn't able to chaperone so I was happy to get to join her this go round. The firemen did a nice job of teaching the kids fire safety and letting them use the water hose and climb in the fire truck!

Girl's Trip!

While the boys were away, the girls shopped and played! Mary Kate and I met Mammy and Pappy at the Columbia Restaurant in Celebration for lunch on Sunday. Pappy headed home and it was just us girls to do whatever we wanted! We started at a cute little pumpkin patch in Celebration, as well as a small farmer's market. Then it was off to the mall where Mary Kate went to Build-a-Bear and decided to make a My Little Pony. She has so much fun in that store! We shopped some more and spent time at our hotel letting Mary Kate swim. On Monday we had breakfast at Dunkin Donuts, shopped a lot, and wore our little girl out!
