Mary Kate Went to Marlee's to Play!

Today I left for Asheville, NC for 5 days! Laci offered to help watch Mary Kate while Jared took me to the airport then went to work. I knew she would have her hands full with two one year olds but she managed quite well. I know my little girl had a blast with her cousin Marlee and all her fun toys. Thank you so much Laci for taking care of Mary Kate and giving her lots of love :)

Molly and Me

It was very exciting to run into my wonderful friend Molly and her "baby bump" tonight at Bass Pro in Orlando. We let the guys shop and she and I got all caught up! I still can't believe we both ended up at the store entrance at the exact same time. I guess God knew I needed my Molly Fix!

Upward Game #3

Another great game...this time he got a blue star which signifies "Effort." He truly deserved this star as he plays his little heart out on the court...Still waiting on that basket...soon, very soon!

First Piggies

Today we tried Pig Tails on Mary Kate....they turned out pretty cute! Sorry about the poor picture quality...phone camera plus child on the go does not make for sharp photos. Look forward to lots of Pig and Pony Tails in the future!

First Pair of Walking Shoes

Now that we have a "walker" on our hands, we needed a pair of good shoes! I took Mary Kate to Jellybeans in Wauchula today to pick out the perfect pair. There were quite a few to choose from but we settled on a shiny silver pair of Mooshu Squeakers! You should hear her walking around in them, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak. She sounds like a dog toy! Not sure how long the squeakers will last (thank goodness I can remove that feature!) Mary Kate LOVES these new shoes and especially loves showing them off. If she's anything like her momma, she will have a huge shoe fetish...watch out daddy!

Upward Game #2

This little guy has been practicing all week for his big game today! He played so so well and I was very very proud of him. He really got into the game and blocked and even got a few opportunities to shoot the ball. No basket yet but I know it will happen very soon! At the end of the game he got a red star for "Best Defense." Boy was he excited!

Fun Cousin Day...

Today was a fun day with Ry Ry and Baxlee. While Brooker was at school, the girls played with Mary Kate and Baxlee let me give her a cute hair-do. We prepared a picnic lunch then set off to pick up Brooker. I then took all four kids to the Children's Museum. We ate our lunch then played for over 2 hours! Mary Kate LOVES the Children's Museum and we will definitely take more trips there in the future. Her favorite was the grocery store. She would LOAD the shopping carts and push them all around. Ry and Baxlee enjoyed dressing up. Brooker is the most fond of the forestry set-up where he can pretend to be on the lookout for fires, etc. As if four kids aren't enough, I invited Oren and Nolan over once we got home. The kids spent the rest of the afternoon playing outside. Today was a GOOD day :)

January BUNCO

Tonight Jamie and Courtney hosted our BUNCO. We were told to come in our jammies and bring breakfast food. This was my kinda night!! Little Tatum joined our group. She is so precious!
